Bel Air Sessions: New Friends Sharing New Ideas For Plant Medicine Innovation & Leadership
When you think about your growth goals and what you want accomplish in your career, what comes up for you?
Do you feel that you are networking with caring, compassionate and accomplished professionals who can help you get there?
If not, a high-quality mastermind group might be the catalyst you are looking for.
Last week, 17 plant medicine leaders and advocates gathered for a Leadership Mastermind in Bel Air, California. The event provided a unique platform for Inner Circle members to discuss their goals, challenges and opportunities in an open supportive environment. Some participants connected for the first time and new friendships were made while old ones were reignited.
Attendees were buzzing with excitement and new ideas as the evening came to a conclusion.
What Is A Mastermind?
A mastermind is a specific type of gathering where a small circle of people meets to move their business and goals forward. This is not to be confused with a networking event, as many large-scale networking events are filled with layers of superficial conversations and lack real depth.
Pro Tip: Your networking time is valuable and should be spent carefully.
We created Inner Circle because of the sheer lack of open, honest and authentic networking opportunities available in our industry. Our members curate expertly guided mastermind sessions in person and online that help the group synch up and receive mutual value, clarity, and connections relatively quickly.
We meet weekly (virtually) where we go deep on business development topics like leadership, funding, marketing, team building, admin, lead generation, budgeting, legal and more.
Our monthly in-person mastermind sessions are unique in that we allow both members and non-members alike to join in on the conversation. This always makes for an engaging dynamic that attendees report receiving a lot of value from.
Don’t worry; this is not an MLM or pyramid scheme, and we will not ask you to sign up your friends who sign up their friends, etc.
What Happened In Bel Air?
During the Bel Air Leadership Mastermind, attendees engaged in two hours of insightful discussions, providing each participant with the opportunity to share, offer and ask questions within the group.
The evening was hosted graciously by Judd Weiss, a founding member of Inner Circle and a respected pioneer in the plant medicine industry, who generously opened his home for the evening.
Throughout the session, several key themes emerged, reflecting the diverse interests and aspirations of the plant medicine leaders present:
- Confidence With Public Speaking & Speaking in Front of Groups
One attendee, a newcomer, shared her struggles with anxiety around public speaking. Thanks to the openness and support of the group, she experienced a remarkable transformation, gaining newfound confidence and comfort when addressing others. - Clarification of Business Goals and Avoiding Distractions
Another prevalent topic was the importance of staying focused on essential business goals while avoiding distractions. With the guidance and insight of peers, participants found clarity and direction in their pursuits. - Networking Effectively & Community Building in the Plant Medicine Industry
Networking effectively and building a strong community within the plant medicine sector proved to be crucial points of discussion. Participants exchanged valuable strategies and experiences, laying the foundation for meaningful connections and collaborative initiatives. - Identifying and Establishing Trust in the Industry
Given the rapid growth of the plant medicine industry, knowing whom to trust became a vital concern. The group engaged in candid conversations about cultivating trustworthy relationships and fostering ethical practices within the field.
Innovating For A Brighter Future
In our industry, it’s common to encounter celebrity-endorsed hype fests that eventually reveal their inability to fulfill promises or initiatives that lose steam shortly after launch. Among these fleeting trends, genuine and steadfast businesses often operate without wanting to be in the public eye.
Inner Circle was founded to provide a space where real people can come together and have candid discussions about the raw, honest aspects of running a business in the plant medicine industry. The truth is we are still very early players in the industry, and as we navigate this rapidly growing field, we must keep a vital principle in mind:
To succeed in business, you must stay in business.
Regardless of whether you’re a vital part of a business or the leader of your own–your unique value, knowledge and insights are indispensable assets for our industry’s growth and progress. We firmly believe that leveraging these strengths and connecting with the right people will propel your vision to fruition.
After countless conversations with industry leaders, it’s evident that many are not properly leveraged, face funding challenges or lack crucial connections to drive their visions forward. At Inner Circle, we bridge these gaps by fostering a supportive community that empowers your growth and success.
However, as always, it’s not about what you know but rather what you do with what you know.
We invite you to join us on this transformative journey. Whether you’re already an Inner Circle member or considering becoming one, our in-person and virtual mastermind sessions will equip you with the tools and support needed to thrive in the plant medicine industry.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Judd Weiss, Inner Circle founding member, plant medicine pioneer and the generous host of the Bel Air event, for opening his home to us and making the evening unforgettable.
With enthusiasm, we look forward to the next gathering, where new friendships will be forged, ideas will flourish and our collective journey in plant medicine innovation and leadership will progress. Until then, stay connected, stay focused and stay dedicated to the mission we all share. Together, we will shape the future of the plant medicine industry.
