Bel Air Sessions: Creating Abundance Through Leadership & Effective Planning

Inner Circle members and guests recently gathered at a beautiful home in Bel Air, a neighborhood in Los Angeles California.

Our monthly meetings are conducted in a mastermind format where we schedule time during the evening to sit together and discuss our challenges and goals in a roundtable format.

The power of these gatherings often exceeds what words can describe. (no really)

The rational mind likes to quantify, justify, and rationalize, but in this open and honest setting, far more valuable things than monetary success can emerge.

As leaders of teams and businesses, our careers are finite and we must use our time wisely.

Therefore, we must pursue solutions, systems, value, and talent. The money is always a result of these.

What are you pursuing?

What could you do with a team of vetted industry experts and pioneers in your corner?

Have you ever heard of a mastermind?

Have you ever considered joining one?

As you may have heard me say: If you aren’t yet making the money you want, doing work you enjoy surrounded by people you care about, then you should consider joining a mastermind group.

What Is A Mastermind?

All Inner Circle members get access to an events calendar of exclusive opportunities to network with vetted plant medicine biz-owners, pioneers and leaders.

A mastermind is a specific type of gathering where a small circle of people meets to move their business and goals forward. This is not to be confused with a networking event, as many large-scale networking events are filled with layers of superficial conversations and lack real depth.

Pro Tip: Your networking time is valuable and should be spent carefully around people who with similar values and goals.

We created Inner Circle because of the sheer lack of open, honest and authentic networking opportunities available in our industry. Our members curate expertly guided mastermind sessions in person and online that help the group synch up and receive mutual value, clarity, and connections relatively quickly.

We meet weekly (virtually) where we go deep on business development topics like leadership, funding, marketing, team building, admin, lead generation, budgeting, legal and more.

Our monthly in-person mastermind sessions are unique in that we allow both members and non-members alike to join in on the conversation.  This always makes for an engaging dynamic that attendees report receiving a lot of value from.

Don’t worry; this is not an MLM or pyramid scheme, and we will not ask you to sign up your friends who sign up their friends, etc.

What does winning look like to you?

If you talk to ten people in our industry eight of them will tell you how difficult it is to make a profit. Especially if you are plant-touching.

If you’ve been in business (any business) long enough, or have moved through several industries in your career, you will find this is a constant rule of success.

It’s not that the eight are wrong, but somehow the other two out of ten always seem to be thriving. Usually in a way that is exponentially greater than the other eight combined.

Of course, if you want to discuss being successful, you must first define what success means to YOU.

Winning isn't always just about making a bunch of money either.

It’s entirely possible to make a lot of money in business and lose in ways far more valuable than making or losing a bit (or a bunch) of cash.

Things like your health, your professional reputation, and your standing in the community of people that matter to you.

What I love about the growing member base at Inner Circle Plant Medicine Leaders Roundtable is that we prioritize community, health, and impact.

Money comes and goes. So do opportunities, but it’s your relationship with yourself that is ever-present.

As we gathered that day in Bel Air to connect, share, and offer our services and expertise, I was reminded that it’s much easier to do better, lean into your purpose, and persist in spite of the fear of failure if we know our community has our back along the way.

During our session, about twenty of us shared the challenges we face in the industry and what we are excited about on the horizon.

In conclusion, winning isn’t always about who makes the most money, but who is the most satisfied and supported in their work and the expression of their authentic vision.
