Is DEI dead? DĒD ☠️
There has been no shortage of controversy surrounding this topic recently.
There is NO question that teams who invest in theirteam and “workplace wellness” in general experience higher retention are more profitable and take fewer sick days overall.
We’ve proven this in our companies over the last 20 years.
It doesn’t really matter what you call it. AND YES, someone will always high-jack, distort manipulate
and sensationalize popular and controversial ideas. Controversy and effectiveness are often cozy bed-mates.
That doesn’t mean however that a government or foreign body should be able to dictate what happens in your workplace. Or should they?
If there is good data that says teams who are more diverse, offer their teams equity and strive for inclusion are more profitable and successful, then why not? Comment below with your thoughts. We would love to hear from you!
